Beautiful spaces to make your own. Our newly refurbished Essex Barn at The White Hart is one of the most romantic wedding venues in Essex, completely exclusive to you and your day. Our striking timber-clad barn is framed by the greenery of our four and a half acres of landscaped gardens, offering a wonderfully scenic and secluded space to celebrate with up to 200 guests.

For intimate weddings, our Garden Room offers a light and airy space for those closest to you to share in your special day.

Five Gold Star Accommodation

We have 13 award-winning bedrooms onsite, accommodating up to 31 guests (including children). Our Five Gold Star rooms are all spacious, perfect for post-celebration slumbers. The Bridal Suite includes a free-standing bath.

You're welcome to book all the bedrooms in your name and allocate rooms to guests of your choosing. Or only book some rooms, and we'll put the rest on general sale.

Amazing venue with equally amazing staff

What can I say about this place apart from perfect! The best venue anyone could wish for for their big day. The staff were amazing and very accommodating from start to finish. There were many questions we had and were answered in the best way to put our minds at ease.
They are so easy to talk to! There was a power cut right before our ceremony but it was handled and dealt with in a professional manner and couldn't do more to find ways around it to keep us calm! It didn't affect our day at all.
The bridal prep room was lovely and the accommodation was spot on. The grounds made for beautiful and unforgettable pictures to look back on in years to come. We want to do it all again!
We honestly couldn't have asked for a better day.

Amazing venue and team

From start to finish The White Hart Great Yeldham/ Essex Barn were amazing with us. We had no clue where to begin when booking our big day. No question was too much for Laura, no 2nd, 3rd ,4th viewing was was much. They were so accommodating with everything. As a family of fussy eaters no catering request was too much either! And the decor... I cannot recommend Vicky enough. She is so passionate about what she does and she is amazing. The venue was so beautiful and exactly as we hoped it would be.

Best day of our lives at the most amazing venue!

Amy, Vicky and Laura were absolutely amazing throughout the whole process of my wedding, the planning, the lead up and the day itself. Nothing was ever too much trouble and they were always very quick to respond to any queries we had.

The staff at The White Hart are amazing and made me feel very calm and comfortable while getting ready for our big day in the amazing bridal getting ready room, which was one of the highlights of the day as there is so much space for everyone with make-up artists and hair stylists etc meaning there was zero stress.

The food was great all round, we had a meal the night before, the wedding breakfast and breakfast the day after were all just amazing, cannot fault anything with it.
Honestly the best day of our lives, so glad we choose this venue to get married, we would highly recommend to all!!
